Highland Park is not only one of the northernmost distilleries in Scotland, but also one of the oldest. The operators of the distillery claim that it was founded back in 1798. Located in the small town of Kirkwall on the Orkneys, Highland Park produces a spicy, smoky single malt and is one of the few distilleries in Scotland to use its own malting floors. The bottlings bear names reminiscent of the Vikings.

Highland Park Harald matured for an undefined period in oak casks. Bottled with a mild 40 % vol. Alcohol, without colorant.

Aroma: Sweet and creamy with herbs and floral notes, spicy smoke and delicate oak.

Taste: Wild honey and caramel, ripe apple fruitiness with a delicate spicy note and some peat smoke.
