The Duncan Taylor company was founded in Glasgow in 1938. Over the decades, the independent bottler built strong relationships with distilleries across Scotland. The company mostly brought its own barrels to the respective distilleries and had them filled with New Make. Over the years, this led to enormous stocks of barrels from which Duncan Taylor still creates excellent bottlings today.

Highland Park 13 Year Old comes from the Scottish Highlands and matured in a single bourbon cask from 2008 to 2022 before being aged for 3 months in a sherry octave. Bottled with a powerful 54.6 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not cold filtered.

Aroma: Floral with hints of moss, sweet with candied fruit, roasted hazelnuts and a hint of smoke.

Taste: Strong and sweet with ripe peaches, herbs and some pepper, slightly smoky with heather and oak.
