Highland Park is not only one of the most northerly distilleries in Scotland, but also one of the oldest. The operators of the distillery claim that it was founded in 1798. Located in the town of Kirkwall in the Orkneys, Highland Park produces a spicy, smoky single malt and is one of the few distilleries in Scotland that uses its own malt floors. The bottlings have nicknames reminiscent of the Vikings.

Highland Park 18 years matured the entire time in former sherry casks. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol, without dye.

Aroma: Very fruity and sweet with pastries and spices, slightly chocolaty oak wood note.

Taste: Apricot and peach, creamy vanilla and toffee, aromatic spice note with floral edges and oak.
