Glenmorangie 14 years The Elementa 1.0l, alc. 43 Vol.-%

Evidence of (illegal) whiskey distilling in the region around the town of Tain dates back to around 1700, but legal whiskey has only been produced at the Glenmorangie Distillery since 1843. The distillery was the first to start aging its whiskey in other casks on a large scale. Over the years, the distillery has been expanded several times, but they deliberately stuck to the small but tall stills, which are unique in shape in all of Scotland.

Glenmorangie 14 Year Old Elementa matured the entire time in freshly burnt bourbon casks. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol.

Aroma: Sweet and creamy, fresh, grassy notes with cloves and a slightly dry oak note.

Taste: Sweet with vanilla and toffee, floral, delicate notes of spices and ginger, hints of fruit.
