Glenlivet Captain’s Reserve 0.7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

The history of the Glenlivet distillery is impressive. Founded in 1824 by George Smith as Scotland's first legally producing distillery, Glenlivet made a name for itself in the region of the same name. Many other distilleries sprouted up almost overnight through the licensing and used the name “Glenlivet” in order to share in the success of the distillery founded by George Smith. Today, alongside Macallan and Glenfiddich, Glenlivet is one of the most successful Scottish distilleries in the world.

Glenlivet Captain's Reserve matured for an undefined period of time in a combination of former bourbon and sherry casks and was then matured in cognac casks. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol.

Aroma: Sweet and fruity, delicate spicy notes with hints of cognac and dry oak, citrus.

Taste: Sweet with a little honey and ripe grapes, delicate fruit acid with cinnamon and dry grains.
