The history of the Glenlivet distillery is impressive. Founded in 1824 by George Smith as the first legally producing distillery in Scotland, Glenlivet made a name for itself in the region of the same name. Many other distilleries sprung up almost overnight as a result of the licensing agreements and use the name "Glenlivet" in their own way to share in the success of the distillery founded by George Smith. Today, alongside Macallan and Glenfiddich, Glenlivet is one of the most successful Scottish distilleries in the world.

Glenlivet 12 years matured the entire time in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol.

Aroma: Sweet with barley malt, apple and pear, some honey and slightly spicy oak.

Taste: Sweetness and spice mixed with caramel and vanilla, fruity, fresh oak.
