Glenglassaugh Evolution Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 50% by volume

The Glenglassaugh distillery was founded in 1874 in the Scottish Highlands. The distillery shares the fate of many distilleries in Scotland. Glenglassaugh has had to close its doors more than once. Production only resumed in 2008 and single malt whiskey was launched again in 2012.

Glenglassaugh Evolution matured in ex-Tennessee whiskey casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at a strong 50% ABV. Alcohol, no coloring, not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Sweet with barley malt, vanilla and citrus, ginger.

Taste: Citrus accentuated, green apples, icing sugar with hints of coconut and marzipan.
