Glenfiddich Vat 01 1,0l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

The Glenfiddich distillery was built between 1886 and 1887 by William Grant and began production on Christmas Day 1887. In 1892, the founder took a break from managing Glenfiddich Distillery to establish the nearby Balvenie distillery, which is also still owned by William Grant & Sons. In 1963, the distinctive three-sided Glenfiddich bottle was introduced. In the same year, the distillery also launched the first ever official single malt whisky on the market.

Glenfiddich Vat 01 reifte für nicht definierte Zeit in einer Kombination aus ehemaligen Bourbon- und Rotweinfässern. Abgefüllt mit milden 40 % vol. Alkohol.

Aroma: Süß mit Gerstenmalz, reifem Obst, etwas Honig und leicht trockener Eiche.

Geschmack: Süße und Würze im Mix mit Karamell und Vanille, fruchtig, zartes Holz.
