Glenfarclas Single Cask 0.7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

The Glenfarclas distillery was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay in Speyside, Scotland and was licensed to distill whiskey in 1844. In 1865 the distillery was sold to John Grant, whose descendants later renovated the distillery and still own it today. Glenfarclas is known for its single malts, which mature entirely in ex-sherry casks. Hardly any Scottish distillery has such an extensive range of different bottlings.

Glenfarclas Heritage matured in ex-sherry casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol, without dye.

Aroma: Grassy and floral with a light nuttiness, sweetness and a hint of oak.

Flavor: Malty with some powdered sugar, green apples, pears and delicate honey sweetness.
