Glendronach Port Wood 0.7l, alc. 46% by volume

An association led by James Allardice founded the Glendronach distillery in 1826 in the Scottish town of Huntly. Most recently under the leadership of Billy Walker, the distillery first developed into an insider tip and later into an iconic brand. The single malts from Glendronach, which matured entirely in Spanish sherry casks, are particularly popular.

Glendronach Port Wood matured for no time in a combination of former port and sherry casks. Bottled at 46% vol. Alcohol, without coloring.

Aroma: Ripe berries, hints of jam and ginger, some liquorice and floral notes.

Taste: Fruity with blackberries and oranges, gingerbread spice and dry, nutty oak.
