Glenburgie 18 Years Ballantine's Series 001 0.7l alc. 40% Vol.

Glenburgie was founded in 1810 as Kinflat Distillery by William Paul. Production officially began in 1829. As with many whisky distilleries, it is difficult to obtain original bottlings from Glenburgie, as the single malt whisky produced usually goes into blends. Glenburgie, for example, is used in Ballantines Blended Scotch Whisky.

Glenburgie 18 years was matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at a mild 40% vol. alcohol.

Nose: Honey, dried fruits, spices

Taste: Caramel, nuts, delicate vanilla, a hint of smoke
