Glenburgie 15 years Ballantines Series 1 0.7l alc. 40 Vol.-%

Glenburgie was founded in 1810 as the Kinflat Distillery by Willam Paul. Production officially began in 1829. As with many whiskey distilleries, it is difficult for Glenburgie to obtain original bottlings, as the single malt whiskey produced is usually blended. Glenburgie's, for example, in Ballantine's Blended Scotch Whisky.

Glenburgie 15 years matured the entire time in former bourbon barrels. Bottled with a mild 40% vol. Alcohol.

Aroma: Ripe fruit notes, citrus with sweetness, malt and slightly dry-chocolaty oak.

Taste: Creamy sweetness with caramel and fudge, currants and ripe apples, some orange peel.
