Founded in 1967, the Glenallachie Distillery is one of the younger distilleries in Scotland. Located just outside the town of Aberlour, the distillery was originally built for mass production for the blend industry. Since the takeover of the distillery by a group of investors in 2017, the focus today is on their own single malts. These are matured and post-matured in a variety of different types of casks. Glenallachie means something like "Valley of Stones".

Glenallachie 15 Years first matured in ex-bourbon casks and then received a post-maturation in sherry casks. Bottled at 46% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Ripe fruit notes, floral and fresh with a delicate nuttiness and slightly chocolaty oak.

Taste: Ripe pears, orange and peel, vanilla with some pepper and an aromatic oak note.
