Glen Scotia Double Cask Rum Finish 0.7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

Founded in 1832 by the Galbraith family, Glen Scotia Distillery is one of three remaining distilleries in the Campbeltown region of Scotland. The distillery is said to be haunted by the ghost of Duncan McCallum, one of its former owners. Glen Scotia produces both smoky and non-smoky single malt whiskey and is enjoying growing popularity among connoisseurs.

Glen Scotia Double Cask matured in ex-Bourbon casks for an undefined period of time and then received a post-maturation in Guyanese Demerara rum casks . Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, not chill filtered.

Aroma: Sugary sweetness with a creamy undertone, floral and fresh with hints of tropical fruits, dry nuts.

Taste: fruity with pineapple and peach, molasses and cotton candy, delicate spice with hints of coconut.
