Founded in 1832 by the Galbraith family, Glen Scotia Distillery is one of three remaining distilleries in the Campbeltown region of Scotland. The distillery is said to be haunted by the ghost of Duncan McCallum, one of its former owners. Glen Scotia produces both smoky and non-smoky single malt whiskey and is enjoying growing popularity among connoisseurs.

Glen Scotia 18 Years Old first matured in ex-bourbon casks before receiving a post-maturation in sherry casks. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Nose: Sweet and fruity with herbs, dry nuttiness and underlying smoke, oak.

Taste: Pepper and other spices, some vanilla, hints of ripe fruit, menthol and a hint of smoke.
