Glen Scotia 11 Year Old Society Edition 0.7l, 54.1% ABV

The Glen Scotia Distillery was founded in 1832 by the Galbraith family and is now one of only three remaining distilleries in the Scottish Campbeltown region. It is said that the distillery is haunted by the ghost of Duncan McCallum, one of its former owners. Glen Scotia produces both peated and unpeated single malt whisky and is enjoying increasing popularity among connoisseurs.

Glen Scotia 11 Years Society was first matured in bourbon casks and then finished in PX and Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 54.1% abv, non-chill filtered.

Nose: Muted floral notes with subtle spices, ripe fruit notes and creamy sweetness, dry oak.

Taste: Fruity with baked apples, cinnamon and a hint of anise, hints of dried fruit, oak.
