Floki Birch Finish 0.7l, alc. 47% by volume

In 2013, the Eimverk Distillery, located south of Reykjavik in Iceland, went into production. In the first few years, bottlings appeared that had already been stored in barrels, but had the necessary three years. Today, the young distillery, which uses 100% Icelandic barley for production, has an extensive range of different barrel types.

Floki Birch Finish matured for three years in a single cask (12), in which individual birch staves lay for a certain time. Bottled at 47 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Floral with fresh notes of citrus and tea, herbs, beeswax and aromatic wood.

Taste: Mixture of sweetness and spice with honey and pepper, lemon and zest, woody bitterness.
