Escorial Green 0.7l alc. 56% by volume, herbal liqueur

The herbal liqueur Escorial was first brought onto the market in 1910 by the Anton Riemerschmid group of companies. Robert Riemerschmid is considered the inventor. Georg Hemmeter is named as sole manufacturer on the product label. The Escorial experienced its first boom as a cult drink parallel to absinthe in the 1920s.

Escorial is drunk neat, on ice or in cocktails on various occasions. In the kitchen it is often used to flambé dishes and desserts.

Taste: tart-sweet with a fine herbal aroma, it has a delicate green colour
