The Harz is not only the location of the highest mountain range in northern Germany, but since 2002 it has also been a source of the highest single malt enjoyment. The Hercynian Distilling Co. is responsible for this. The family business produces an impressive range of Hercynian single malt whiskies by hand, always authentically, using traditional methods, long fermentation times and a great love of experimentation.

ElsBurn The Harz is distilled from 100 percent regional barley.
Matured in first and second fill sherry hogsheads and a small proportion of first fill bourbon barrels.
