Double Barrel Islay & Highland Blended Malt 0.7l, alc. 46% vol.

The Double Barrel Blended Malts are the work of independent bottler Douglas Laing. This series is dedicated to marrying different single malts from different Scottish regions. For this double barrel bottling, two very different single malts from the regions of Islay and Highlands were married.

Double Barrel Islay & Highland matured in oak casks for an unspecified time. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Malty with roasted notes, delicate sweetness, a hint of herbs with mild peat smoke and citrus.

Palate: Grainy with sweet herbs and marzipan, oranges and zest, spicy smoke and delicate oak.
