The Dalwhinnie Distillery was founded in 1897 and named after the village of the same name, which translates as "meeting place". Due to its location, the distillery used to be a good trading point for moonlighting whiskey and is now a popular meeting point for connoisseurs from all over the world. Dalwhinnie is also part of the popular and world-renowned Classic Malts of Scotland range.
Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold matured in oak casks for an undefined period. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol.
Aroma: Fruity with nectarine, delicate sweetness, a hint of spice and malt.
Taste: Light honey sweetness with hints of cloves, fruity with floral notes and some oak.
