Daftmill 2010 Summer Batch Release 0.7l, alc. 46% by volume

Daftmill Farm in the Scottish Lowlands is all about growing malting barley, raising beef cattle and vegetables. The Cuthbert family has also been producing single malt whiskey since 2005, and it was only after 12 years that the long-awaited first bottling was launched. Daftmill only burns in the off-season (June and July and in winter), when there is no need to plant potatoes or sow barley.

Daftmill 2010 Summer Batch Release matured in ex-bourbon casks from 2010 to 2021. Bottled at 46% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Citrus accented with hay and cereal notes, some sweetness, almonds and marzipan.

Taste: Delicate sweetness, lemons and zest, stone fruit with malt and ginger, spicy with a pinch of pepper.
