Not far from the Speyside Cooperage, in the small town of Craigellachie, is the distillery of the same name, which was founded in 1891 and translates to "rock mountain". Unusually, the Craigellachie Distillery bottles its single malts with odd ages. The whiskey produced there is also one of the main ingredients in Dewar's blends.

Craigellachie 13 years matured the entire time in oak barrels. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Citrus fruity with pithy grain, delicate sweetness and spice with mild oak.

Palate: Pear and peel, oranges with a hint of sweetness, tart malt and some dry woodiness.
