Cask Islay AD Rattray Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 46% by volume

AD Rattray was founded in 1868 by Andrew Dewar Rattray and originally began as an importer of French wines, Italian spirits and olive oil. However, the company later established itself as a specialist in the field of blending and the storage of malt and grain whiskeys. After the death of the founder, the company went to a capable whiskey broker named William Walker, whose daughter later married and ensured the continued existence of the company - to this day.

Cask Islay comes from an unnamed distillery on the Scottish island of Islay and matured in ex-bourbon casks for an unspecified time. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Sweet cereal notes with maritime edges, rich peat smoke and some oak.

Taste: Roasted malt, caramel and herbs, aromatic smoke, fresh.
