Carlos I Brandy de Jerez Solera Gran Reserva is the epitome of fine Spanish brandy. After decades of being available exclusively to its creators as a private reserve, the bodega launched the exquisite Solera Gran Reserva in 1922 under the name CARLOS I. The success was as resounding as it was lasting. Thanks to its unmistakable aroma and silky-smooth character, CARLOS I has since been considered the No. 1 among Spain's finest brandies.

The basis for the production of this brandy is the manual selection of the 100-year-old barrels that the master blender selects from the La Honda Amontillado (1857) solera barrels. This creates an incomparable brandy.

The taste of the brandy is reminiscent of precious woods. The salty, mineral nuances are a sign of an old Amontillado. There are also notes of hazelnuts, walnuts and roasted chestnuts.
