Founded in 1824 in Speyside, Scotland, the Cardhu distillery is Johnnie Walker's flagship distillery. This mild Speyside single malt is one of the main ingredients in many of the brand's bottlings. In addition, Cardhu has its own range, which is particularly popular in Spain.
Cardhu 12 years matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol.
Aroma: Delicate sweetness with pears, raisins, underlying spices and mild oak.
Taste: Fruity with pears and citrus, floral with some vanilla and a pleasant oak note.
