Cambus 40 years Single Grain 0.7l, alc. 52.7 Vol.-%

Cambus was a distillery in the Scottish Lowlands that specialized in the production of grain whiskey. Shut down in 1993, the distillery now functions as a cask and bottling warehouse. Single grain whiskeys from this distillery have become rare these days, especially when they are considered original bottlings.

Cambus 40 years matured in ex-bourbon casks from 1975 to 2016. Bottled at natural cask strength of a powerful 52.7 vol. % alcohol, limited to 1,812 bottles worldwide.

Aroma: Ripe fruit notes with a distinctive sweetness, aromatic spices, beeswax, toffee and elegant oak.

Taste: Sweet with vanilla and caramel, aromatic spice notes, ginger, ripe apples, almonds and dry pine.
