Bunnahabhain 12 Jahre Cask Strength 2023 0,7l, alc. 60,1 Vol.-%

Bunnahabhain was founded in 1881 by the Greenless brothers on the Scottish island of Islay and translates as "estuary". The distillery has one of the largest stills on the island and produces whisky both with and without smoke. With an approximate smoke content of 38 ppm, the peated bottlings are considered to be rather mildly smoky. These are very often found in the typical Bunnahabhain bottle, which is very dark in color under Gaelic names.

Bunnahabhain 12 Jahre Cask Strength reifte die komplette Zeit in einer Kombination aus ehemaligen Bourbon- und Sherryfässern. Abgefüllt in Fassstärke 60,1 vol. % Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Blumig und nussig mit Noten von Marzipan, Haselnuss, Mandelcreme und Sauerkirschen. 

Geschmack: Geröstete Nüsse und Gewürze mit Zimt und Nelken, mit Noten von Karamell, Toffee Sultaninen und einem Hauch von Kaffee.
