Founded in 1779, Bowmore is the oldest whisky distillery on the Scottish Isle of Islay. Known for its smoky whiskies, Bowmore is one of the island's milder representatives, with around 35 ppm smoke content in the malt. In addition to its bottlings, the distillery is known for Vault No.1 - the only warehouse in Scotland that is below sea level.

Bowmore Timeless 27 years was first matured in a combination of former bourbon and sherry casks and then further matured in Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at a strong 52.7% alcohol by volume, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Ripe, dark fruit notes with distinct sherry, creamy sweetness, a hint of liquorice and delicate peat/incense.

Taste: Leather and hints of tobacco, dark fruits with plums and raisins, caramel and a hint of peat smoke.
