Founded in 1779, Bowmore is the oldest whiskey distillery on the Scottish Isle of Islay. Known for its smoky whiskeys, however, Bowmore is one of the milder representatives of the island with around 35 ppm smoke content in the malt. In addition to its bottlings, the distillery is known for Vault No.1 - the only warehouse in Scotland that lies below sea level.

Bowmore 30 years matured the entire time in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at 45.3 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Ripe and exotic fruit notes, spicy-floral with creamy sweetness and a hint of smoke, eucalyptus and oak.

Palate: Fruity with banana and pineapple, sweet vanilla and honey, deep spiciness with a mineral edge, heather, dry wood.
