The Bladnoch distillery, located on the river of the same name, is the southernmost whiskey distillery in Scotland that is still producing. After it was founded in 1817, the distillery looks back on some very dark times: countless changes of ownership, temporary closures. In 2015 the distillery was taken over by an Australian entrepreneur who breathed new life into Bladnoch and modernized it.

Bladnoch Vinaya matured in former bourbon and sherry casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 46.7 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not cold filtered.

Aroma: Floral and mild with grassy notes, green apples and pleasant spiciness.

Taste: Fruity with apples, pepper and a hint of milk chocolate, malt.
