The Bladnoch distillery, situated on the river of the same name, is the southernmost whisky distillery in Scotland still in production. Founded in 1817, the distillery has experienced some very dark times: numerous changes of ownership and temporary closures. In 2015, the distillery was acquired by an Australian entrepreneur who breathed new life into Bladnoch and modernized it.

Bladnoch matured for 8 years in bourbon barrels with a finish in red wine barrels.
Bottled at 46.7% alcohol by volume, without added colouring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Fresh, ripe strawberries, delicate herbal notes and a hint of pine cones

Taste: Fruity strawberry jam, oak and a delicate hint of nutmeg.
