Benriach 12 Jahre The Twelve 0,7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

The Benriach distillery was founded in 1898 between the towns of Elgin and Rothes. The distillery is characterized by its willingness to experiment - both with the malt and the casks. Benriach produces - rather atypically for Speyside - heavily smoky single malt whisky in places and matures it in a variety of different pre-seasoned casks in addition to without peat smoke.

Benriach 12 Jahre The Twelve reifte in einer Kombination aus ehemaligen Bourbon-, Sherry- und Portweinfässern. Abgefüllt mit 46 vol. % Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Dunkle Fruchtnoten, zuckrige Süße, zarte Gewürze mit einem Hauch Eiche und Malz.

Geschmack: Anklänge dunkler Beeren und Kirschen, Rosinen, eine Spur Pfeffer, leicht schokoladige Eiche.
