The distillery Ben Nevis, named after the mountain of the same name, was founded in the Scottish Highlands in 1825 and perfectly embodies the style of the region. Located in Fort William, the distillery has been owned by the Japanese company Nikka for several years. Ben Nevis produces both single malt whiskey with and without peat smoke. .

Ben Nevis Coire Leis matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Nose: Ripe citrus and zest, sweet with notes of malt and toast, delicate oak.

Taste: Fruity with apples and oranges, sweet vanilla and caramel, spicy wood.
