The Ben Nevis distillery, named after the mountain of the same name, was founded in 1825 in the Scottish Highlands and perfectly embodies the style of the region. Located in Fort William, the distillery has belonged to the Japanese company Nikka for several years. Ben Nevis produces both single malt whisky with and without peat smoke. .

Ben Nevis Coire Leis matured for an unspecified period of time in former bourbon barrels. Bottled at 46% alcohol by volume, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Floral honey notes with fruity hints of citrus, orange and beeswax, followed by toffee and vanilla.

Taste: Creamy spice with aromas of muesli and dark chocolate.
