Balvenie 21 years Portwood 0.7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1892 right next to the Glenfiddich distillery and is still family-owned today. Connoisseurs appreciate the soft single malts from the distillery, which is one of the few in Scotland that still operates its own malting floors. Balvenie also produces smoky whiskey - which is rather untypical for the Scottish Speyside.

Balvenie 21 year old Portwood first matured in ex-bourbon casks and then received a post-maturation in port wine casks. Bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Mixture of sweet and at the same time dry with dried fruits, nuts and chocolaty oak.

Taste: Fruity with candied oranges, ginger and some cinnamon. sweet with honey and walnuts, oak.
