Balvenie 19 years Cask and Character 0.7l, alc. 47.5 Vol.-%

The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1892 directly next to the Glenfiddich distillery and is still in family hands today. Connoisseurs appreciate the soft single malts from the distillery, which is one of the few in Scotland that still operates its own malt floors. Balvenie also produces smoky whiskey - rather untypical for Scottish Speyside.

Balvenie 19 Years Cask and Character matures the entire time in former Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 47.5 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Intense ripe fruit and caramelized orange peel, striking a nice balance between toasted oak and ground barley.

Taste: Strong and balanced with aromas of currants, cherries and raisins that would lead to fig, cocoa and a creamy nutty finish.
