Balvenie 12 Year Old Double Wood Gift Set 0.7L, 40% ABV

The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1892 right next to the Glenfiddich distillery and remains in family hands today. Connoisseurs appreciate the distillery's smooth single malts, produced at one of the few distilleries in Scotland that still operates its own malting floors. Uncharacteristically for the Scottish Speyside region, Balvenie also produces smoky whisky.

Balvenie 12 Year Old DoubleWood is matured first in former bourbon casks before undergoing a secondary maturation in sherry casks. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV.

Aroma: A harmonious mix of sweetness and spice, mild fruitiness.

Taste: Soft and round, with sherry sweetness interacting with vanilla and honey.
