Ballechin 10 Year Old was made with 50ppm smoke in the malt and matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.
Aroma: Earthy, intense peat smoke with distinctive sweetness, liquorice and hints of pine.
Taste: Smoky with herbal candies, cotton candy, earthy notes and some ash.
