Auchentoshan 12 years 0.7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

Founded in 1825 just outside Glasgow, the Auchentoshan distillery produces single malt whiskey that is triple distilled. What is more typical in Ireland is less common in Scotland. A triple distillation allows the spirit and later whiskey to mature very mildly, which makes Auchentoshan, translated as "corner of the field", very popular, especially with beginners.

Auchentoshan 12 Years Old was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for the entire time. Bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Apple and pear, vanilla and a hint of spice, malty, grassy freshness, nuts.

Taste: Mild with a slightly dry grain note, fruity citrus notes with creamy sweetness, delicate oak.
