Arran Sauternes Cask Finish 0.7l, alc. 50% by volume

The Lochranza distillery, which was called Arran Distillery until 2020, was founded in 1995 and is located in the town of Lochranza on the Isle of Arran. The distillery currently sells single malts under the name of the island, which are produced both with and without peat smoke. In the future, however, the smoky production will move to the new Lagg Distillery, which was newly built in the south of the island.

Arran Sauternes Cask Finish matured for an undefined period of time in former bourbon barrels and was then matured in Sauternes wine barrels. Bottled at a strong 50% ABV. Bottled alcohol. No dye and not cold filtered.

Aroma: Floral with slightly dry oak, delicate herbs, aromatic sweetness and fruits.

Taste: Honey with herbs, green grapes, delicate vanilla with dry grains and oak.
