Ardnamurchan Single Cask AD/02:16 0.7l, alc. 57.9 Vol.-%

The Ardnamurchan Distillery is located in the Scottish Highlands and is considered one of the most remote distilleries in all of Scotland. The distillery is named after the peninsula on which it is located. Construction began in 2013 and production started in 2014 on two wash stills and one spirit still. Ardnamurchan is owned by Adelphi Distillers Ltd., an independent bottler.

Ardnamurchan Single Cask - AD/02:16 - Cask 60 matured for an undefined time in a combination of former European oak and sherry casks (Oloroso). Bottled with a strong 57.9% vol. Alcohol, without coloring and not cold filtered.

The Ardnamurchan Single Cask AD 02:16 Cask 60 is an exclusive single malt whiskey, bottled in a limited edition of only 330 bottles, especially for the German market. The whiskey is characterized by its aging process in Spanish oak barrels that previously contained Oloroso sherry. This type of storage gives whiskey distinctive notes. As a peated whiskey, i.e. with a portion of smoke, it combines the classic characteristics of a Scottish single malt with the complexity and depth that arises from storage in sherry casks.
