Ardnamurchan Heritage Barley Release 0.7l, alc. 59.2% vol.

The Ardnamurchan Distillery is located in the Scottish Highlands and is considered one of the most remote distilleries in all of Scotland. It is named after the peninsula on which it sits. Construction began in 2013, and production started in 2014 using two wash stills and one spirit still. Ardnamurchan is owned by Adelphi Distillers Ltd., an independent bottler.

Ardnamurchan Heritage Barley Release was matured in former bourbon barrels.
Bottled with a robust 59.22% vol. alcohol, without added colouring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Milk chocolate cookies, candied cherries, lime syrup, a delicate dusting of powdered sugar on marzipan, apricot jam. Melted butter with acacia honey on sourdough toast. Preserved lemons.

Taste: Melt-in-your-mouth, oily. The marzipan theme continues with candied almonds. Other nuts: salted cashews and delicate pistachios. A gentle, creamy sweetness. Moist orange polenta cake. Baked apples with sparkling lemonade. Peshwari naan filling.
