Ardmore Traditional Peated 1.0l, alc. 40% by volume

The Ardmore distillery, which was founded in 1898, is located in the eastern Highlands. Among other things, the distillery processes medium-heavy peated malt, which makes some of the distillery's bottlings smoky. Among other things, Ardmore produces the main ingredient in Teacher's Blended Scotch Whisky, but also sells its own single malts.

Ardmore Traditional Peated matured for an undefined period of time in former bourbon barrels and was then matured in quarter casks. Bottled at 40 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Mix of spicy and sweet with barley malt, hints of fruit, delicate peat smoke, some oak.

Taste: Citrus accented with oranges and lemons, malt sugar and some spice, dry, smoky.
