Angel's Peak Red Angel Dusk Bordeaux 0.7l, alc. 47% vol.

Großheubacher Handcrafted whisky made from slightly smoky barley malt, rye, and wheat, distilled in 2018. After two years of maturation in 100-liter oak barrels, the distillate was transferred to a freshly emptied Bordeaux barrel from Klingenberg's twin town, Saint-Laurent d'Arce, a suburb of Bordeaux. It matured there for four and a half years to perfection.

The deep red hue of the Cabernet Sauvignon from the barrel and its aromas were beautifully absorbed by the whisky, giving it its dark red color and fruity/smoky aroma. Smooth on the tongue and long-lasting on the palate.
