The Glasgow Distillery is the first independent whiskey distillery in Glasgow, Scotland, for over 100 years. Founded in 2012, production of Makar Gin, which came onto the market in 2014, began immediately after its launch. The young distillery has also successfully launched several bottlings in the single malt whiskey sector.
1770 Glasgow Triple Distilled matured for an undefined period of time in former bourbon barrels and was then matured in fresh American white oak barrels (Virgin Oak). Bottled 46% vol. Alcohol, without coloring and not cold filtered.
Aroma: Muted floral notes with sweet accents of caramel and vanilla, red fruits.
Taste: Creamy and sweet texture with vanilla and malt, apples and pears, pinch of pepper.
