The Tullibardine distillery, located in the Scottish Highlands, originally came from a brewery. King James IV bought beer from this brewery as early as 1488. Whiskey production began in 1886. It was not until 1947 that the brewery buildings were converted into today's Tullibardine Distillery. Since 2011, the distillery has been owned by the French wine and spirits group Picard Vins & Spiritueux, which owns, among other things, the 'Highland Queen' brand.
Tullibardine 15 years matured the entire time in former bourbon barrels. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol, without coloring.
Aroma: Hints of hay and violets, ripe fruit notes, nutty with creamy sweetness, some oak.
Taste: Mild mix of sweetness and spice with vanilla and clove, baked apple and ripe pears.
