Tamnavulin Sherry Cask Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 40% by volume

By Scottish standards, the Tamnavulin Distillery, founded in 1966, is one of the younger whiskey distilleries. Located in Speyside, Scotland, Tamnavulin translates as "mill on the mountain". After various closures, the distillery has been producing again since it was taken over by Whyte & Mackay in 2007. Since 2011 at full capacity.

Tamnavulin Sherry Cask first matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time and then received post-maturation in three different sherry casks. Bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Creamy sweetness with notes of ripe fruit, citrus fruits and zest, some oak.

Palate: Malty and fruity with fruitcake, brown sugar and toffee, slightly nutty oak.
