The Talisker distillery was established in 1831 on the Scottish Isle of Skye. The name derives from the Talisker House estate, a few miles west in the mountains. After a fire in 1960 that almost destroyed the entire distillery, Talisker was rebuilt true to the original a few years later. Skye's stunning scenery attracts countless tourists to the distillery every year, many of whom delight in the distillery's peppery, smoky single malt.

Talisker Wilder Seas matured in ex-XO French oak cognac casks for an undefined period of time . Bottled at 48.6 vol. % alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered. .

Aroma: Mild and dry, top notes of fruit and malt, dates and dried figs.

Taste: Sweet and salty, with notes of sultanas and figs, spicy and smoky
