Talisker 11 years Special Release 2022 0.7l, alc. 55.1 Vol.-%

The Talisker distillery was established in 1831 on the Scottish Isle of Skye. The name derives from the Talisker House estate, a few miles west in the mountains. After a fire in 1960 that almost destroyed the entire distillery, Talisker was rebuilt true to the original a few years later. Skye's stunning scenery attracts countless tourists to the distillery every year, many of whom delight in the distillery's peppery, smoky single malt.

Talisker 11 years matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled with a strong 55.1 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Maritime and fresh with delicate pepper, some sweetness, underlying wood smoke and delicate fruit.

Taste: Spicy with pepper, malty sweetness with hints of light fruits, maritime peat smoke.
