Stauning Bastard Rye Danish Whisky 0,7l, alc. 46,3 Vol.-%

The Stauning Distillery was founded in 2005 in the small town of the same name in Denmark. Production began in 2009 with an initial output of 60,000 pure alcohol per year. After Diageo acquired a stake in the distillery, the plant was expanded and output increased to 750,000 pure alcohol per year. Stauning malts the rye for production and sometimes uses peat and heather for kilning.

Stauning Bastard  reifte für 3 Jahre in neuen angebrannten amerikanischen Eichenfässern und erhielt ein 6-monatiges Finish in Mezcalfässern vom mexikanischen Hersteller Oro de Oaxaca.
Abgefüllt mit 46,3 % vol. Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Süßer Pfeifentabakrauch, Rosinen, Haferkeks, Zitrus, Eiche.

Geschmack: Tabak, Vanille, Gerste, Trockenfrüchte, Zimt, brauner Zucker, Melasse, Shortbread, Eiche.
